Chemilink™ SS-281

Polymer Based Concrete Curing Compound

Chemilink™ SS-281 is a special formulation of polymer modified curing agent with good alkaline resistance. When applied at the correct rate and not over applied so that a thick glossy film is evident bonding problems for oncoming coatings or tapestry work will not occur. In this case SS-281 does not have to be removed prior to any further application of oncoming coats. Chemilink™ SS-281 prevents concrete from rapid drying out or surface burning caused by excessive sun or wind. Chemilink™ SS- 281 prevents shrinkage cracks and other surface damage and prevents the need for keeping the concrete wet during the first few weeks which would automatically lead to increased labour costs. Chemilink™ SS-281 will remain intact for a long period and will provide a suitable base for many surface finishes.

Application Procedure

Surface Preparation

The substrate should be solid, clean and free from dust, grease and loose materials.

Mixing

For use by Chemilink™ SS-281 itself, stirring the contents well before use. Do not mix anything else with Chemilink™ SS-281.

Placing

Apply Chemilink™ SS-281 by brush or normal spraying machine. In order to guarantee an even coat, the spraying nozzle should be approx. one meter from the concrete surface during application.

Storage

Chemilink™ SS-281 has a shelf life of 12 months if stored in a cool and dry place in original containers.
